Overview

Beginning of extreme activities: 05 lines of 3kms approx. In total and 01 Tibetan bridge 120m long. During the execution of the activity, the participant can perform flight maneuvers such as; Regular style, fetal, tandem in couple, head down, turns and superman.

The average travel speed is 70 km / h. If the client wishes, he can use his camera or camcorder during the entire tour and / or he can also request the photography session that is available in our facilities for an additional cost. The VERTIKAL circuit will conclude after 2 hours.

Santa Teresa - Vertikal Zipline - Hidriolectrica

The Vertical Zip Line tour in Santa Teresa starts in the morning, we will leave Santa Teresa at 8:30 am by tourist bus, where we can see the immensity of the Santa Teresa Valley seen from the top of the valley, after 30 Minutes we will arrive to our destination (Vertical Zipline), before starting our tour.

The guide will give us some recommendations on the equipment we will use and the explanation and safety information about the Zip Line about the sacred valley, after all the councils, we will be ready for our adventure.

We will be taking the first cable around 9:30 am and the last cable will be taking them around 11:00. After finishing our adventure, we head towards Hydropower, and thus ends our services.

What is a zip-line or canopy?
A zip-line (also known as a flying fox, foefie slide, zip wire, aerial runway) consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to traverse from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley.
Who can try the zip line?
The minimum age for the Sacred Valley Zip-Line is 7 years old. We reserve the right to admission to determine whether people are suitable for the zip line or not.
What kind of equipement is used?
A pelvic harness, helmet, gloves and a zip-line kit, (pulley, 3 carabiners, and lanyard) and via ferrata lanyard. All our equipment is certified CE and it is specially made for this activity.
Zip-Line Security
All paths between lines are equipped with via ferrata system. The lines were extended, in a way, that people does not need any break system. The person lose velocity when she or he is getting closer to the end of the line. All our guides are trained periodically in vertical rope rescue and FirstAid
What you need to bring?
Use light clothing and comfortable shoes (tennis, light hiking boots, etc.. No sandals). Use pants rather than shorts. Note that as you go upper the weather will be colder and windy, you can carry extra clothing in a small backpack. Bring at least 1 lt. of water. You can bring your empty bottle, we do have purified water at our base so you can refill it at the beginning and at the end of the activity. Eco friendly Attitude; please recycle bottles, we provide the water you bring the bottle.
Zip Line Duration
10 minutes hike to get to the first line, and 1 to 2 hours zip-linning depending on the size group. You will need to add the transportation times.
